German defense company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Milrem Robotics, an Estonian developer of robots and autonomous systems, signed a contract to supply unmanned THeMIS devices to Ukraine.

Information about this appeared on the website of Milrem Robotics. Ukrainian Armed Forces plan to transfer 14 ground drones. The first 7 robots will arrive in Ukraine in December, and the rest - in early 2023. The robots are planned to be used to evacuate the wounded and to deliver weapons to the battlefield.

THeMIS (Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System) is a robotic tracked hybrid modular infantry system. It is produced by the Estonian company Milrem Robotics. The vehicle's open architecture gives it the ability to perform many tasks. The main purpose of THeMIS is to support base logistics and provide last mile supplies to combat units on the front lines. By the way, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already using THeMIS robots in the war against Russian invaders.
