Belgium will give Ukraine remote-controlled R7 submersibles, which can dive to a depth of 300 meters

The Belgian Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder recently announced that she plans to transfer underwater drones to Ukraine. According to the Navy Recognition, it is about the R7 devices.

What is known

Manufacture of R7 is engaged in the Belgian company ECA Robotics Belgium. Such drones are designed for oceanographers, hydrographers and work with underwater structures. The drones are able to dive to depths of up to 300 meters. They can be used in a variety of missions. For example, surveillance, maintenance and restoration of underwater objects.

In total, Ukraine is to receive 10 drones. They will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of this year.
