The German Federal Government has updated the list of military aid, which is in preparation, for Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

Recently, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (Olaf Scholz) after a conversation with President Zelensky confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive a new batch of Gepard in addition to the three dozen anti-aircraft tanks provided in the third quarter of this year. Now it has become known how many units will be transferred to Ukraine.

As always, for security reasons, the federal government refrains from publishing additional information, including the timing and methods of delivery, until the military aid arrives at the address. However, the agency's website indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive seven Gepard anti-aircraft tanks.

The self-propelled units, equipped with two 35 mm cannons, have proven themselves in the fight against Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-131/136. The tank can destroy aerial objects at ranges up to 4 km and up to 3 km in range and altitude respectively.
