According to Gematsu, the PSP version of the legendary Star Wars Battlefront 2 Classic has appeared on the PlayStation Store. It looks like the game will emulate the PSP console itself, which may mean that it will be available as part of the classic games for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Interestingly, at the time of writing, if you decide to see the game's page in the PS Store, you will not succeed - it has been removed. It is not yet clear why this happened, but, in any case, we can see screenshots from the game that were presented there:

Flashback

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Classic is the sequel to the classic first Battlefront of 2004. In the campaign of the game you will take part first in the Clone Wars, and then in the Civil War as part of the 501st Legion - an elite combat corps under the command of Anakin Skywalker, and later Darth Vader himself. In addition to the campaign, there is also multiplayer for up to 32 players, which, by the way, is still alive on the PC version. At one time, it received 8.6 out of 10 points from users on Metacritic and 97% positive reviews on Steam.

There is no release date for PlayStation 4 and 5 versions.
