More American fighters appeared in Eastern Europe.
Here's What We Know
The command of the United States Air Force in Europe has announced the redeployment of fourth-generation fighters from Great Britain to Poland. We're talking about the F-15E Strike Eagle.
The planes were at the Royal Air Force's Lakenheath Air Base in the United Kingdom. The U.S. Air Force command decided to move the fighters to central Poland at Łask base.
The number of planes transferred from Great Britain to Poland is not specified. The publication of the U.S. Air Force Command in Europe notes only that the F-15E Strike Eagle will perform deterrence operations on NATO's eastern flank.
