Meta is preparing new features for WhatsApp, they are already being tested on Android, iOS and PC

Meta continues to improve the WhatsApp application by adding new useful features.

Here's What We Know

According to wabetainfo, Meta is testing a Picture-in-Picture mode in the app for calls on iOS devices. The new function will be activated by default, but if you want, you can disable it in the settings.

Also protection for photos and videos will soon appear for WhatsApp. The innovation will be called View Once and is already being tested on Android. The feature will be one-time messages. Such SMS can not be saved, shared, copied, as well as take a screenshot.

WhatsApp is also testing a status list for PCs. This will allow users to see status updates from the list of conversations.
