TSMC didn't hear about the crisis - the company increased revenue to $7.3 billion in a month

While many companies complain about the crisis that hit the semiconductor industry, TSMC was able to increase revenue for the month in one and a half times compared with last year.

Here's What We Know

The Taiwanese giant released statistics showing that its revenue in November 2022 increased by 50.2% over the same period in 2021 to $7.3 billion. The sequential growth (compared to the previous month) is 5.9%.

Overall, TSMC is now experiencing a great period, despite the difficult geopolitical situation both in the world and around the island country. Since the beginning of the year revenues of Taiwan manufacturer reached $67.6 billion, which is 44.6% more than in the eleven months of last year.

The other day TSMC announced that it would increase investments in U.S. production from $12 billion to $40 billion. The company will build two new plants in Arizona, which will be able to produce 60,000 silicon wafers each month.
