[Updated] EVGA will auction off a prototype of the cancelled GeForce RTX 4090 FTW3 graphics card on eBay and donate all the money to charity
Updated: The eBay lot has been removed because a new account was used for the sale and the price was too high (over $13,000). Now you can buy GeForce RTX 4090 FTW3 on the official EVGA forum. The conditions are the same. At the time of writing the price of the video card has reached $8800.
EVGA has decided to sell a working prototype of GeForce RTX 4090 FTW3 graphics card from the auction and help one of the hospitals.
Here's What We Know
In mid-September, the company announced its withdrawal from the video card market. The reason for this was a conflict with NVIDIA. Because of this, the manufacturer even refused to release a new generation of gas pedals. In particular, GeForce RTX 4090.
The prototype GeForce RTX 4090 FTW3 is available for purchase on eBay, but no returns. There is no warranty either, although the seller is the manufacturer itself. The auction will run until December 16. The proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
