MIUI exceeds 564 million monthly users

Xiaomi boasted an increase in the number of monthly users of the firmware MIUI, which is available for all smartphones, not counting a few models on a pure version of Android.

The first version of MIUI was announced in 2010. On December 11, MIUI 14 was already presented, and do not forget about the existence of MIUI 12.5 / 12.5 Enhanced Edition. After 12 years, the company boasts that the monthly audience of the software has more than 564 million users.

The 100 million level was reached on August 19, 2015. It took another three years to double the result, but Xiaomi passed the milestone of 300 million users on December 28, 2019. At the beginning of 2020, the company reported 400 million, and last year the number of active users reached the 500 million mark.

MIUI 14, according to the developers, is a lightweight and fast "operating system." The new version of the firmware brought few innovations, and one of the most interesting was the ability to add a digital pet to the desktop.

The shell debuted with the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The first wave of smartphones, which consists of 11 flagship models, will receive an over-the-air update in January.
