Twitter account @ElonJet with 1.5 million followers, which was tracking Elon Musk's private jet, was permanently blocked

This week, Jack Sweeney wrote that Twitter issued a shadow ban on the @ElonJet account, which posted data on the movement of private planes of celebrities, including Elon Musk. Three days later, the account was permanently blocked.

Here's What We Know

At the beginning of November, Elon Musk said that he would not block the account, despite the fact that it "poses a direct risk" to the security of the American billionaire. As we can see, a lot has changed in a month.

On December 11, the @ElonJet account received a shadow ban. This means users are having trouble finding the account. On Dec. 14 Jack Sweeney wrote that the profile had been permanently banned. The reason for the permanent ban was not specified.

We should add that earlier this year, Elon Musk offered an American student $5,000 to delete his account. However, Sweeney demanded $50,000. Now the student continues to track the billionaire's planes and publishes information on Instagram. But he has two orders of magnitude fewer followers on that social network - 13,000 versus 1.5 million.
