Now it's official: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released in autumn 2023 on PlayStation 5

The PlayStation Blog has published an article dedicated to the most important events that await Sony's gaming division in 2023. Thanks to the article, it became officially known that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released next fall.

Bryan Intihar, creative director of Insomniac Games, wrote that the studio is actively preparing for the release of a new Spider-Man story, which gamers will already see in the fall of 2023 on PlayStation 5.

Before that, gamers in the UK noticed that a page with the game appeared in the PlayStation Store and it can be added to the wishlist. The rumors did not end there, because Insomniac Games writer Jamie Mayer noted on her personal website that the release will take place in the fall of 2023. Now the developers have officially announced the release and there is less than a year to wait.

The game was first announced on September 9, 2021 at PlayStation Showcase 2021. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be a direct sequel to Spider-Man 2018 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game will also feature Venom, who will be an important person in this story.
