Ukraine plans to resume negotiations on the supply of long-range missiles again.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by the publication Politico, citing its sources. According to Politico another round of negotiations will be held today, February 21, during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the US. The matter concerns ATACMS missiles for HIMARS and other multiple launch rocket systems with the range of targets up to 300 km.
Ukraine has repeatedly requested deliveries of missiles, but each time the U.S. refused. The Biden administration believes that supplies of this type of weaponry could influence the escalation of the conflict.
By the way, in addition to ATACMS, the Ukrainian delegation will also make another request for the transfer of Gray Eagle and Reaper strike drones to the AFU.
