Samsung Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 smartphones along with the Android 13 update and One UI 5.0 feature Bixby Routines (aka Modes & Routines)
Samsung has added the Bixby Routines feature to three Galaxy A series smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73.
Here's What's New About It
The new feature is part of the Android 13 update with the signature One UI 5.0 shell. However, it is not quite clear why the manufacturer still calls this feature Bixby Routines, if it itself renamed it to Modes & Routines.
In any case, Bixby Routines or Modes & Routines implies the automation of some processes on the smartphone. For example, you could create a routine where your smartphone opens Spotify every time you plug your headphones into the device. Or open Google Maps and turn off Wi-Fi as soon as it connects to your car's infotainment system via Bluetooth.
By the way, until now, Bixby subroutines have been limited to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold series, Galaxy Z Flip series and Galaxy A52. However, the company has now added the feature to its more affordable smartphones with the Android 13 update.
