Stranger Things co-creator Matt Duffer officially confirmed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that an animated spin-off of the popular thriller has been in development for over a year.
Here's What We Know
The anime titled Stranger Things Tokyo will be about twin brothers, video game fans who lived in Tokyo in the 1980s. The authors claim that the animated series will be fundamentally different from the original, but fans will not be disappointed.
The number of episodes is still unknown, but the total timing, according to Duffer, will be about six hours. The anime will probably only be available on Netflix.
Stranger Things Tokyo's premiere date is unknown.
