Christopher Judge's finest hour? The actor who played Kratos in God of War: Ragnarök could make the Guinness Book of World Records with his speech at The Game Awards 2022

Actor Christopher Judge is not only famous for his brilliant performance as Kratos in God of War: Ragnarök, but also made history with his acceptance speech at The Game Awards.

After receiving the award for Best Performance by an Actor, Judge couldn't hide his emotion, dragging out his thank-you speech to such an extent that he set a new world record for the longest speech at an awards ceremony.

The previous record belonged to actress Greer Garson, who in 1942 spoke on stage for 5 min. 30 seconds, after which the film academy limited actors' performances to 45 seconds.

Christopher Judge was apparently more impressive than the Oscar-winning Hollywood star, which is why his speech lasted 7 minutes and 59 seconds. 59 seconds!

In the fourth minute of his "Kratos" speech, they tried to stop him with a prompter: "Please wrap it up!", later, the directors turned up the volume of the background music. But that didn't stop Judge either.

Notably, the actor expressed displeasure that he was interrupted early and didn't have time to thank his wife.

The organizers of The Game Awards decided to take the opportunity to officially register Christopher Judge's speech in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest in the history of the awards.
