Baykar has handed over a new batch of Bayraktar Akinci unmanned aerial vehicles to the military. Deliveries are proceeding as planned.

Here's What We Know

Turkey's army received three drones. The Akinci drones were accepted into service in late summer 2021. Last August, the Air Force received six drones.

Bayraktar Akinci has been actively involved in weapons tests in recent weeks. Last week he tested the MK-83 bomb with the GÖKCE guidance kit. Another week earlier, the drone used the TRG-230-IHA supersonic missile to destroy a target at a distance of 100 km, and in early December Bayraktar Akinci used the TOLUN air bomb for the first time.
