Lucasfilm and Disney have unveiled a new teaser for the second season of the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Here's What We Know

The short clip shows footage of the many misadventures that members of the Bad Batch squad will find themselves in.

In season two, viewers will see how the Galactic Republic finally turned into an authoritarian Empire. Perhaps the most intriguing moment of the teaser was a certain Wookiee with a lightsaber in his hands (a Jedi?).

The first episode of the new season of "The Broken Batch" will air on Disney+ on January 4, with the last episode expected to air in late March.

Viewers will see a total of 16 episodes.
