Ukraine has a new addition to its fleet of marine drones - the Raccoon's Revenge drone, named after the Kherson raccoon

The UNITED24 platform reports a New Year's Eve addition to Ukraine's fleet of marine drones. The money for the new drone was raised by the guys from NAFO (North Atlantic Fella Organization), an online community that counteracts Russian propaganda and disinformation.

More than three thousand donations were made, and in less than two months they raised $276,429. This money will be used to buy a named surface drone, called Raccoon's Revenge. It is named after the raccoon that the occupants stole from the Kherson zoo and now show it in social networks as a mascot for Russian paratroopers. The Kherson raccoon has become the hero of numerous memes and a symbol of the absurdity of the Russian military, which steals everything from toilets to animals in Ukraine.

The collection for the creation of the world's first fleet of naval drones was opened in November. In all, Ukraine wants 100 drones, but in the first stages, money is being raised for 10 devices. One such unmanned "ship" costs $270,000. The drone can hit targets at a distance of up to 400 km. You can donate to the fleet HERE.
