Drone Army: Ukraine bought 1,577 drones, more than 900 are already at the front
On July 1, the fundraising platform UNITED24 together with the General Staff of the AFU and the Ministry of Digital Information announced the launch of the "Drone Army" project. It started a large-scale collection of money for drones, which people gave to the Ukrainian military.
Six months have passed - and the head of the Ministry of Digital Mykhailo Fedorov told about the number of the "Army of Drones" as of today. So, under the project, Ukraine has already purchased 1,577 drones. 928 of them have been transferred to the AFU and help Ukrainian defenders at the front.
"For each of them hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world have donated through UNITED24. Thank you," Fedorov wrote on social networks.
