Huawei has released a stable version of the HarmonyOS 3 operating system. The new software build is available for the nova series models, which were announced in 2019 and 2020.

Here's What We Know

The final version of HarmonyOS 3 arrived "over the air" on the Huawei nova 6 and nova 6 5G smartphones. They were introduced in late 2019 with EMUI 10 and Android 10. Both feature the Kirin 990 processor, but the 5G version got an overclocked version of the chip with a 5G modem, an advanced neuralgic processor and a maximum clock speed of 3.13 GHz instead of 2.86 GHz.

Owners of the Huawei nova 7 and nova 7 Pro models also have the option to install HarmonyOS 3. The smartphones came out in the spring of 2020, also with EMUI 10 and Android 10. Both models support 5G and carry the Kirin 985 chip.

In addition, the Chinese company has officially announced the release of HarmonyOS 3 for the Huawei MatePad 10.4 tablet. But here we are talking about a beta version of the operating system.
