The annual Rose Parade was once again attended by United States Air Force aircraft. But this year they had to do without the B-2 Spirit nuclear bombers.

Here's What We Know

Because of an accident at Whiteman Air Force Base late last year, B-2 Spirit aircraft are still not allowed to fly. So the B-1B Lancer supersonic strategic bombers took part in the Rose Parade instead.

The two Rockwell jets flew low and loud over the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Stadium. The B-2 Spirit "flying wings" are expected to take part in the parade again in 2024.
