It's official: the U.S. will transfer M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine
After several months of negotiations, the United States of America agreed to transfer the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

The information was shared by Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh, citing the official statement of the White House. The U.S. has not yet named the number of BMPs, but according to Reuters, we are talking about 50 combat vehicles. The new military aid package is to be announced today, January 6.
Flashback
The M2 Bradley is the main infantry fighting vehicle in service with the U.S. Army's mechanized forces. The BMP is built on a tracked chassis and has a 25-mm M242 Bushmaster automatic gun. There are also TOW anti-tank missile system and M240C machine gun. The cost of one Bradley level M2A2 is about $2,000,000.
By the way, in addition to the M2 Bradley BMPs, Ukraine will also receive AMX-10 RC light tanks. They will be handed over to the AFU by France.
