Not just Marder BMPs: Germany will transfer Patriot surface-to-air missile system to Ukraine
The German government has decided to send Ukraine not only Marder infantry fighting vehicles, but also Patriot surface-to-air missile systems.

Information about this appeared on the website of the German government. We are talking about one battery of SAMs. It is not yet known when the supply of weapons will begin. We can only assume that the AFU will receive the German missile system together with the American one not earlier than February.

The MIM-104 Patriot is an anti-aircraft missile system developed by Raytheon, USA. It consists of an airborne interception missile and a high-performance radar system. The probability of hitting an aircraft is 0.8-0.9, while the tactical missile is 0.6-0.8. The cost of one missile is about $3 million.
