Mark Gurman, a well-known insider and Bloomberg contributor, said that Apple will release an augmented reality headset as early as this year.
Here's What We Know
In a Power On news digest, Mark Gurman shared that a device called Reality Pro will be unveiled for the first time on the eve of the big Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) tech show in June.
Reality Pro will likely be unveiled in May, and sales of the headset will begin in the fall of 2023.
Gurman claims that Apple had planned to unveil the gadget in January, but due to production delays, the presentation had to be delayed by several months.
The Reality Pro's operating system is xrOS, which is specifically designed for the VR device.
