Well, it seems that last year was a happy one for games related to dwarves. First, the revived 2006 classic Dwarf Fortress, which launched on Steam, shot to several million copies, and now developer Ghost Ship Games has announced that another "dwarf" game Deep Rock Galactic has also found success in the form of two million copies sold.

Deep Rock Galactic is a cooperative first-person shooter video game. The gameplay is primarily centered around missions that take place in fully destructible, procedurally generated cave systems; they can have different terrain generation, objectives, hazards, and enemies depending on the chosen biome and mission type.

The game was released in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and later received native versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. On Metacritic, the game was appreciated by both critics and ordinary players: 82 and 82 points respectively.
