MSI announced two WQHD monitors with higher refresh rate. One of the models is equipped with a panel on quantum dots.

Here's What We Know

MAG321QR-QD display has a 31.5" screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is now fashionably called WQHD, not just QHD. Color gamut sRGB coverage is 140%, Adobe RGB - 98% and DCI-P3 - 97%. The manufacturer claims to support refresh rates of up to 170 Hz.

The display has a contrast ratio of 1200 to 1 and peak brightness of 350 nits or 400 in SDR and HDR modes respectively. DisplayPort 1.2a, USB-C, HDMI 2.0b, USB-B and USB-A connectors are provided for connecting third-party devices.

MSI's second new product has the catalog number G321Q. It does not support VESA HDR, and brightness in SDR mode is reduced to 300 nits at peak. Coverage of the sRGB, Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 color ranges is 123%, 90% and 93% respectively. The monitor is also left without a quantum dot panel. More details about the parameters of the two new products you can see in the image below.

The price of the monitors is not specified. MSI company also does not hurry to reveal the sales launch date.
