Denuvo's anti-piracy protection has proven effective: only one of the 36 games it protected in 2022 has been hacked
Gamers are ambivalent about the Denuvo anti-piracy protection, as it often significantly degrades the performance of the games it protects.
But for game developers, Denuvo has become a solid investment in an effective way to combat digital piracy.
In 2022, Denuvo's DRM system withstood the majority of hacker attacks. Of the 36 major games protected by the anti-piracy system, attackers cracked only one game - Dying Light 2.
Among the 2022 games Denuvo's DRM system has been used in such projects as Two Point Campus, Total War Warhammer III, Judgment, Lost Judgment, FIFA 21, and Sniper Elite 5.
This is an excellent result and a great success for the Denuvo team.
Considering such a high percentage of protected games, it is obvious that more and more developers will use Denuvo to ensure the security of their projects. Gamers, in turn, will have to put up with some technical problems and hope that the developers of the system will optimize it soon.
