Another win! The New York Game Awards 2023 named FromSoftware's action-RPG Best Game of 2022

The New York Game Awards 2023 were held in New York City.

Elden Ring, the most highly acclaimed game of 2022, was also a triumphant at this award. The Japanese action-RPG won Best Game of the Year and also won Best Game World.

Vampire Survivors won Best Indie Project and God of War: Ragnarok won Best Screenplay.

Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, received a special Andrew Yoon Award for his services to the industry.

The winners of the other nominations were:

• "Best Actor" - Manon Gage (Immortality);
• "Best AR/VR Game" - Moss: Book II;
• "Best Game for Kids" - Kirby and the Forgotten Land;
• "Best Mobile Game" - Marvel Snap;
• "Best Remake" - The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe;
• "Best Hidden Hit" - Signalis;
• "Best Add-on" - Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.
