Flashback
Brimstone 2 is an upgraded version with high precision laser guidance and a range almost twice that of the first version (up to 80 km). The Brimstone 2 is intended primarily to engage ground targets, including moving vehicles. It is also a naval version, designed to destroy fast attacking vehicles such as speedboats. The Brimstone 2 is usually launched from the air, but the AFU uses them along with modified trucks as mobile launching platforms.
