A solution to the JoyCon drift problem in Nintendo Switch has been found
After years of searching for a solution to the problem of stick drift on Switch. Gulikit has come up with a solution, creating a special set of joysticks that should solve this problem forever.
Here's What We Know
If you own a Nintendo handheld, you're probably familiar with the problem of stick drift, which creates false inputs even when you don't touch them. The problem has existed since the console's inception and hasn't been fixed even in the OLED version, although the company claimed to have made "some improvements." Of course, you can send your sticks for repair to Nintendo and they will send you new ones, but they are also likely to start drifting.
Unlike standard joysticks, Gulikit's joysticks use a so-called Hall sensor, which makes them much more resistant to drifting - the same technology used in Sega's Saturn 3D and Dreamcast controllers of the 90s. According to iFxit, the sensors use magnets to detect joystick movement, which means that none of the components rub against each other and, consequently, do not wear out.
Gulikit's Joy-Con is available on Amazon for $29.70 right now.
