Poland handed over Bayraktar Marik UAV to AFU, for which Poles raised more than $5,000,000
Poland has handed over a Bayraktar Marik drone to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was revealed by journalist Sławomir Sierakowski on Facebook. On his initiative, the Poles launched a fundraiser for the purchase of the drone in the summer of 2022. The initial intention was to raise $4,600,000 for the drone, but it ended up raising over $5,000,000. The Bayraktar Marik is already in Ukraine and will start serving in the near future.
Flashback
The Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish operational strike UAV with an internal combustion engine and a pusher type propeller. The drone has up to 4 guided munitions. It is capable of remaining in the air for 12 to 24 hours. The maximum control range is up to 150km. The AFU has been using this UAV since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
