IRIS-T air defence missiles and border surveillance vehicles: Germany hands Ukraine a new military aid package

The German government has handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

According to the Bundeswehr website, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received:

• IRIS-T air defence missiles,
• 13 trucks,
• 2 forklifts,
• 12 tractor-trailers and four semi-trailers,
• 12 border guard vehicles and 2 pick-up trucks.

Incidentally, the German Government has also confirmed that it is preparing to send 14 Leopard 2A6 tanks and their ammunition.
