GoldenEye 007 is now available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox GamePass
The first-person shooter GoldenEye 007 is now available on two new platforms - Xbox and Nintendo Switch - with some differences.
Here's What We Know
As for the Microsoft console version of the game, it is an updated version of the 1997 shooter with support for 4K resolution, higher frame rate, as well as local and split-screen multiplayer.
On Nintendo Switch, GoldenEye 007 was released as part of Nintendo Switch Online, which is a collection of games from the company's previous consoles. To play the shooter, you will have to spend money on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
But the Switch version has an online multiplayer mode, unlike Microsoft's "faithful recreation" available for Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles and included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription.
The classic campaign mode will also be available on Xbox, along with cheat modes, support for dual analogue sticks, and native 16:9 to 4K aspect ratio.
