Germany is buying 105 Vector reconnaissance drones for Ukrainian Armed Forces

Quantum-Systems plans to hand over a new batch of Vector drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Information about this appeared on the website of the German manufacturer. The AFU will receive 105 drones. Their purchase will be financed by Germany. Prior to this, Ukraine ordered 33 drones. They are already operating at the front.

There is no information when the delivery of the new batch of UAVs will begin. By the way, Quantum-Systems has made some modifications to the drone. It is now capable of operating without a GNSS signal.

The Vector is a reconnaissance UAV with a fixed wing. It can take off and land vertically. It has a low-noise engine and an encrypted IP link that transmits a video stream. The drone has a flight time of up to 120 minutes. It can fly at speeds of up to 72 km/h.

The Vector is controlled by a ground station and a special tablet. The UAV has a folding design. It can be folded into a special backpack for transportation.
