70 Ukrainian soldiers come to Germany to learn how to use Patriot SAMs
The Ukrainian military has come to Germany to receive training in the use of Patriot surface-to-air missile systems.

The information was shared by the German media. We are talking about 70 servicemen. They arrived in Germany on 31 January and training is due to start today, 2 February. The program is designed for 8 weeks. As for the SAM system, it should be handed over to Ukraine this quarter. By the way, apart from Germany, the AFU will also receive one Patriot battery from the USA and two launchers from the Netherlands.

The MIM-104 Patriot is an anti-aircraft missile system developed by the US company Raytheon. It consists of an airborne interceptor missile and a high-performance radar system. The probability of hitting an aircraft is 0.8-0.9 and a tactical missile 0.6-0.8. The cost of one missile is about $3 million.
