OnePlus has unveiled a global version of the Buds Pro 2 headphones, priced from $145, developed in collaboration with composer Hans Zimmer
Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has announced new fully wireless earphones along with the OnePlus 11 and 11R smartphones. They are called OnePlus Buds 2.
Here's What We Know
The earphones were announced in China in early January along with the local version of the OnePlus 11 smartphone. They were created with the help of famous composer Hans Zimmer, winner of two Academy Awards for his music for The Lion King and Dune.
The OnePlus Buds 2 Pro have support for Hi-Res Audio Wireless, LHDC 5.0 and features adaptive noise reduction (up to 48dB). The gaming latency is less than 55ms. There are 11mm + 6mm drivers inside.
Each earpiece is equipped with a 60mAh battery. The working time without recharging is 6 hours with noise cancellation and 9 hours without. The rechargeable battery lasts up to 25 and 39 hours respectively.
The charging case has IPX4 water protection. The protection within the earphones themselves is IP55 rated.
Also note the touch controls and Bluetooth 5.3 smartphone synchronisation.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The global version of the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro is priced at $179. You can buy them in India for $145 and in Europe for €179 (). There are three colours available to buyers: white, black and green.
Sales will start on February 16. The company will release the OnePlus Buds 2R Pro model in the spring, but the specifics are not specified.
