Over 20 million copies of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet sold in six weeks

Pokémon has always been a popular series, and sales of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet have once again confirmed this - the game has crossed the 20 million mark in just six weeks.

Here's What We Know

The news was shared by Nintendo itself as part of its final results for the first nine months of fiscal year 2023. Currently, the latest instalment of the series has sold 20.61 million copies since its launch on 18 November to 31 December 2022, which ranks it fourth among the best-selling Pokémon games of all time. Red, Green & Blue is in first place with 31.3 million, followed by Seord & Shield with 25.6 million, and Pokémon Go ld & Silver with 23.7 million copies sold.

However, since the game was released relatively recently, we can assume that in the near future it will take the third or even the second place in the ranking among other Pokémon games.
