The most downloaded games on PlayStation in January 2023: Grand Theft Auto V, FIFA 23, and Minecraft are the leaders

Sony has published a list of the most downloaded games on PlayStation 4/5 in the US, Canada, and Europe. The leaders are GTA V, Minecraft, and FIFA 23.

Here's What We Know

On PlayStation 5 in the US and Canada, the eternal Grand Theft Auto V, Dead Space remake, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II were the most downloaded games. Interestingly, sports simulators took 3 positions in a row. NBA 2K23 took 4th place, FIFA 23 5th place and Madden NFL 23 6th place. In Europe, Grand Theft Auto V and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II were also downloaded the most, but FIFA 23 was not Dead Space, but FIFA 23.

The situation on PlayStation 4 is a bit more interesting. In the US and Canada, Minecraft, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and Red Dead Redemption 2 were the most downloaded games. The latter also sold very well in the UK in January. And in Europe, gamers downloaded FIFA 23, Minecraft and The Forest to their PS4s the most.
