When Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 get One UI 5.1

Samsung recently unveiled the flagship Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones with the new One UI 5.1 shell. Information has now emerged on when last year's devices from the company will receive the update.

When We Can Expect It

So, according to Canadian carrier Fido, Samsung developers plan to release the new software version for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra in late February. Incidentally, apart from last year's flagships, the Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 foldable smartphones will receive the new software version at the same time.

One UI 5.1 is the current shell for Samsung smartphones. It's based on the Android 13 operating system and has many small but useful changes. For example, the updated Samsung Notes app with the ability to collaborate on documents during video calls on Google Meet. The One UI 5.1 also boasts improved integration with Galaxy Book laptops, security and privacy.
