The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received two sets of Ukrainian Raybird-3 UAVs.
Here's What We Know
This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov. The drones were handed over to the AFU by the UNITED24 Foundation. This is a reconnaissance UAV, with the help of which the Ukrainian military will be able to fly into the deep rear of the enemy. According to the manufacturer, Raybird-3 is capable of flying up to 2,500 km at a maximum altitude of 4.5 km. The claimed flight time is 18-28 hours. The UAV can fly at a cruising speed of 110 km/h.
Incidentally, the AFU has already managed to test the Raybird-3 during a counterattack in the Kharkiv region. The occupants tried to shoot down the drone with a Buk system near Balakleya, but they failed.
The Raybird-3 is produced by the Ukrainian company Skyeton. The UAV began to be developed in 2014.
