Huawei unveiled the Watch Buds smart watch with built-in headphones in China in December 2022. And now, the unusual gadget has debuted in Europe.

Here's What We Know

The Huawei Watch Buds feature an active matrix powered by organic LEDs. The screen has a diameter of 1.43" and a resolution of 466 x 466 dots. The model has received support for 80 sport modes and also has sensors to track heart rate and blood oxygen levels.

The watch case has IP54 dust and splash protection. Under the bonnet there's also an NFC chip and a GPS navigation receiver. Connectivity to smartphones is via Bluetooth.

Unfortunately, there's almost no information on earbuds. According to the manufacturer, they connect to smartphones as soon as you pull them out. The watch case acts as a case where the headphones are charged. The weight of each module is 4 g. Notably, Huawei does not divide the headphones into right and left.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Huawei Watch Buds will cost €400 in China. The watch will be available in Europe from March 1 for €499. At the pre-order stage (from February 28), the novelty is available at a €60 discount.
