Flashback

The Burning Shores expansion pack is being prepared for Horizon Forbidden West, which will take Eloy to the untamed ruins of Los Angeles. Over thousands of years of destroyed civilisation, the city has turned into a treacherous volcanic archipelago, where the developers promise to show new characters, cars, and even more adventures.

A special feature of the expansion will be that Eloy will spend a significant part of the game flying on the Sunwing, a machine that resembles a pterodactyl. In the previous instalment, 95% of the gameplay was available to us only on land, but here we will get a completely new gaming experience. In order to fully unleash the technical potential of Burning Shores, the developers even had to abandon the release of the expansion on PlayStation 4.

The expansion will be released on 19 April.
