At least it's not scary here: Capcom unveils Resident Evil 4 Remake system requirements

A month is left before the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Capcom has finally revealed the game's system requirements.

Here's What We Know

Looking ahead, you won't have to update your computer. The developers decided not to complicate anyone's life and make the minimum and recommended requirements based on the hardware that most gamers have.

Here are the full system requirements for the game:

Minimum:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel Core i5-7500
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4GB VRAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB VRAM
  • DirectX: 12
  • Windows: 10 (64bit)
  • Additional notes: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card is required for ray tracing games.

Recommended:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / Intel Core i7 8700
  • RAM: 16 GB OF RAM
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
  • DirectX: 12
  • Windows: 10 or 11 (64bit)
  • Additional notes: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card is required to play with ray tracing.

The developers did not specify how much space the game will take, but most likely it will be 50-70 GB.

When We Can Expect It

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on 24 March 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
