Starlink tests new Global Roaming tariff: $200 a month and connection from almost anywhere in the world

SpaceX is testing a new Starlink satellite internet plan and is already sending out emails to some users with a tempting offer.

The tariff is called Global Roaming Service. Starlink claims that it will allow you to "connect from virtually anywhere in the world".

However, how exactly the internet will work in different countries is unclear: the satellite internet service officially operates in 48 countries worldwide. Some countries do not yet have regulatory approval, and some Starlink is not available at all.

Nevertheless, the media reports that Starlink offers global roaming service to some users outside the company's coverage area, for example, in Greenland.

A global roaming tariff costs $200 per month. Of course, that's on top of the $599 hardware cost.
