€40,000,000 contract: Finland orders NLAW anti-tank missile systems from Saab

The Finnish Army buys NLAW anti-tank missile systems from Saab.

Here's What We Know

This was revealed in a press release by the manufacturer of the NLAWs. The contract is for SEK 400,000,000 or 40,000,000 euros. Unfortunately, the number of complexes is not named. All that is known is that deliveries of the weapons will start in 2024.

Flashback

The NLAW is a Swedish-British lightweight short-range anti-tank missile system. It is being developed by Saab. The NLAW can be operated by one person. It is capable of engaging targets up to 600-800 meters away and with armor up to 500mm. By the way, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using NLAW in the war against the Russian invaders.
