Der Spiegel: Sweden will give Ukraine 10 Stridsvagn 122 tanks, an upgraded version of the Leopard 2A5
The Swedish government has approved deliveries of tanks to Ukraine.

The German daily Der Spiegel wrote about it, citing its sources. According to the journalists, Sweden is ready to transfer 10 Stridsvagn 122 tanks to Ukraine. Sweden has 120 tanks in its arsenal.
The Stridsvagn 122 is an upgraded version of the German Leopard 2A5 tank, which is produced under licence in Sweden. The tank has a reinforced running gear, additional armour, square shaped floodlights, seat belts and the French GALAX smoke grenade launcher system. The Stridsvagn 122 is specially designed for fighting in Swedish conditions, including forested areas and urban areas.
By the way, apart from Sweden, Ukraine will also receive Leopard 2 tanks from other partners: 14 from Germany, 10 from Spain, 4 from Canada, 3 from Portugal and 8 from Norway. Also do not forget about Poland, which has already passed its tanks to the AFU.
