Redmi has unveiled 300W fast charging technology, it can charge a smartphone from 0 to 100% in 5 minutes

The Redmi brand, which is owned by Xiaomi, revealed the Redmi Note 12 Racing smartphone with a record 210W of charging in China in October 2022, and has now announced even more powerful technology.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about a 300W power supply. According to the manufacturer, it has 50 protection protocols and is capable of charging a 4,100mAh battery in 2 minutes and 11 seconds to 50%. A full charge cycle takes just 5 minutes.

Incidentally, the company has demonstrated the operation of the technology in a video. A special Redmi Note 12 smartphone codenamed Discovery took part in the test.

When We Can Expect It

Unfortunately, it is not known yet when the smartphone that supports the new technology will appear on the market.
