Mobile World Congress is in full swing. In Barcelona, nubia has unveiled the world's first 3D tablet that doesn't require special glasses. The novelty is called nubia Pad 3D.
Here's What We Know
The device was developed in collaboration with Leia Inc. The tablet is equipped with a 3D display, which is capable of providing 3D images without the need for additional headsets. The screen size is 12.5" diagonally, and the resolution corresponds to the format 2.5K.
The Nubia Pad 3D gets a Snapdragon 888 processor and a 9070mAh battery. The fast charging capacity is 33W. The tablet also supports Dolby Atmos and special software algorithms that are responsible for content processing (3D and 2D).
The front camera has two modules - 8 MP and 16 MP. They monitor the user's eyes, and the tablet displays a stereographic picture based on the information obtained, depending on the position of the eyes. The entire technology is called AI Engine Super Bionic Eye. It is developed by Leia Inc. The company has also created LeiaTube software to turn YouTube videos into 3D.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Nubia Pad 3D costs €1000. The novelty will go on sale in March 2023. Leia Inc. will release apps for the tablet that will turn ordinary games and photos into 3D.
