Xiaomi has ended the lifecycle of the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T. And in the case of the former, the company has marked the End of Support (EOS) versions for different regions. Both smartphones were announced in the second half of 2019 and received Android 9.0 Pie with the MIUI 10 shell.

Two more models are called Redmi 8A Dual and Redmi K30 Racing 5G. They were released in the first half of 2020. The former smartphone got Android 9.0 Pie and MIUI 10, while the latter got Android 10 and MIUI 11.

The Redmi K30 5G Racing distinctive feature is the rare Snapdragon 768G processor. This chip is only used here, and also for the OPPO K9 5G, ZTE S30 Pro, iQOO Z3 and realme Q3 Pro Carnival Edition.
