Bloomberg: Meta will lay off several thousand more employees this week

Meta Corporation laid off 11,000 employees in November 2022. Such a significant staff reduction (about 13% of the corporation's workforce) was caused by serious financial problems caused by both the global economic crisis and a series of bad decisions by Meta's management.

Apparently, massive layoffs have not helped to stabilize the IT giant's position because, as Bloomberg has learned, as early as this week Mark Zuckerberg's company will lay off "several thousand more people" ©.

The cuts will affect Meta's core departments, including employees involved in Facebook, Instagram, Metaverse, VR Horizon Worlds and Meta Quest (Oculus VR) virtual reality headsets.

The exact number of people who will be out of work is not yet known, but Meta is already sending out layoff notices.
